At ADT we have automated provisional restorations to provide fast, cost effective PMMA (acrylic) temporaries. Our manufacturing process includes scanning of diagnostic casts, CAD, and milling. ADT’s automated temps are available in 16 Vita shades and can be manufactured in one week.

At ADT we have automated provisional restorations to provide fast cost effective PMMA (acrylic) temporaries. Our manufacturing process includes scanning of diagnostic casts, CAD and milling. ADT’s automated temps are available in 16 Vita shades and can be manufactured in two weeks in lab*.
The process for muli-layered CAD CAM provisional is illustrated in the slide series to the left
1. The milled provisional
2. A silicone model is fabricated.
3 & 4. A silicone matrix is fabricated over the temp and model.
6. The temp is cut back for enamel layering.
7 & 8. Outline monomer is applied to the provisional to insure bond.
9. The Outline powder and liquid is mixed and poured into the matrix.
10.The matrix is re positioned over the provisional and model
11. After complete cure the provisional is finalized.
